Tell us a bit about why you are doing this research, how you got to where you are now (e.g. analysing results), and any obstacles or adversities you’ve faced with respect to your research (e.g. ethics sign off, noisy data, COVID)
I was sitting in a lecture in undergrad and was learning about neurofeedback and thought that it was so incredible how we could train brain activity to change our mental state. I am currently up to analysing my results. I’ve had quite a few obstacles throughout my PhD, including learning about EEG techniques and equipment!
What would you like to do post PhD?
Undecided, but I’d like to probably continue teaching and research
Any book and/or podcast recommendations?
I love most literary works by Haruki Murakami
